Richard Phillip Partington

Richard Phillip Partington, 77, 211 Karen Ave., Sidney, Ohio, passed away at his residence of natural causes on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 8:37 AM. He was born July 22, 1937 in Plattsville, Ohio, the son of Leo and Mildred (Young) Partington and they are deceased. He was married to Betty Reier on April 25, 1983 and she survives along with two daughters, Karin Compton of Sidney, Ohio and Denise Ciriegio and fiance Mike Richmond of Sidney, Ohio and two sons, Kevin Partington and wife Cathy of Fullerton, California and Matthew Partington and wife Rachel of Sidney, Ohio; one brother, Leo Partington and wife Susi of Troy, Ohio; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One brother is deceased. He was retired from the Copeland Corporation, Sidney, Ohio in the maintenance department. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio. Doug Thobe, a nephew of Mr. Partington, will have the graveside service. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements.
