Robert Wallace Phillips

Robert Wallace Phillips, 90, of Sidney Ohio, died at 9:40pm on June 21st. He was born on December 11, 1924 to Robert Wallace and Ladonna Phillips in Ypsilanti Michigan. On July 3rd, 1948 he married the former Rita Wesbecher. She preceded him in death in April of the year 2000. Surviving are 2 sons and 1 daughter. Robert Wallace Phillips V, of Sidney, Ohio Roderick Blaine Phillips of Troy, Ohio, and Dianna Morrow of Sidney, Ohio. 2 half brothers and 1 half sister preceded him in death. Robert retired in 1989 from the former Siedel Communications as a communications Technician. Robert loved anything electronic and mathematical. Therefore he was a very enthusiastic Ham radio operator. He was also heavily involved lighting many venues at the Hobart arena. Robert even enjoyed running the projector at Sidney Auto view drive in theater, in Sidney Ohio, for many years. Roberts services and burial are private.
