Rosalia Ann Schmitmeyer, 83, 435 Saddle Club Dr., Kerrville, Texas formerly of Sidney, Ohio died at The Haven Assisted Living Home in Kerrville, Texas on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 4:50 AM. She was born January 17, 1927 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Andrew and Marie (Uppenkamp) Klikovits and they are deceased. She was married May 1, 1946 to Alfred John Schmitmeyer and he died on January 3, 1994. Surviving are two daughters, Debra Stacy and husband Jim of Kerrville, Texas and Jean Cotton and husband Brett of Ramona, California and one sister, Janet Becker and husband Tom of Anna, Ohio. Also surviving is one granddaughter, Jennifer Paredes and four great-grandchildren, Mallory Paredes, Anna Paredes, Jill Paredes and Mia Paredes and second husband, Lester Heyne of Celina, Ohio. One son, James Alfred Schmitmeyer and one brother, Donald Klikovits and sister-in-law, Stella Klikovits are deceased. She attended Holy Angels School. She was a seamstress and also worked at Gilardi's doing demos. She lived most of her life on a farm in McCartyville, Ohio. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville and also a former member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in McCartyville. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 5-8 PM.
