Roy E. Elder

Roy E. Elder, 45, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on February 13, 2022, at his residence in Sidney, Ohio. He was born July 25, 1976, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the son of Roy Sr. (deceased) and Shirley (McCoy) Elder, who survives.
Roy is survived by his mother Shirley along with two children Savannah Elder of Louisiana and Emma Elder of Sidney, Ohio. Roy was preceded in death by his father Roy Elder Sr.
Roy graduated from Bellefontaine High School, class of 1994. Following graduation, Roy worked as a surgical tech and also repaired homes. Roy had many friends and had a big heart and would help anyone he could. Roy will be missed by many. Roy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sidney, Ohio.
In keeping with Roys wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services held. Online condolences may be left for the Elder family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com.
