Sandra Sue Herider

Sandra Sue Herider, 70, 11312 Carysville Rd., Conover, Ohio died on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 PM after an extended illness at Kindred Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She was born November 16, 1941 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Lehr Hugh and Alice Geraldine (Wells) Burnham and they are deceased. On July 13, 1963 she married George Bruce Herider and he survives long with one daughter, Janette M. Tucker and husband Charles of Sidney, Ohio; five sisters, Pam Miller and husband Marty of Tennessee, Chris Cooney and husband Rocky of Hollywood, Florida, Leslie Webb and husband Brett of Springfield, Ohio, Randi Bodey of St. Paris, Ohio and Amy Yonkers and husband Mike of Sabina, Ohio and one brother, Craig Burnham of Dayton, Ohio, one granddaughter, Ashlee M. Weaver, and several nieces and nephews and brother-in-law, Robert D. Heridan of Enon, Ohio. A son, Andy Herider, a sister, Brooke Burnham and a brother Doug Burnham preceded her in death. She was a past civil service employee at Wright Patterson in Fairborn, Ohio and worked for the United States Postal Service as a postal worker in Piqua and St. Paris for many years. She was an avid homemaker, loved to play cards, knit, enjoyed canning and was very active in her church at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Carysville, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, 740 Lakeview Plaza Boulevard, Suite 225, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
