Thelma Mary Kerber

Thelma Mary Kerber, 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:45 PM at the Fair Haven Shelby County Home, 2901 Fair Rd., Sidney, Ohio. She was born June 15, 1924 in Fort Loramie, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Doseck) Sherman and they are deceased. She was married in 1947 to Thomas Kerber and they celebrated 44 years of marriage. Mr. Kerber passed away in 1991, She is survived by two sons, Ronald Kerber and wife Patsy of Sidney, Ohio and Richard Kerber and wife Christine of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Marge Crusey of Sidney, Ohio; two brothers, Bernard Sherman of Newport Richey, Florida and Ivo Sherman of Bellefontaine, Ohio; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Sherman is deceased. Mrs. Kerber was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Frank Amberger. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 324 S. Ohio Ave., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
