Timothy A. Maggert, 55, of Loretto, Kentucky, formally of Piqua, Ohio, passed away on October 26, 2023, at UofL Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Tim was born May 20, 1968 in Piqua, Ohio the son of Francis Maggert and Marjorie (Kindell) Wisecup.
Tim is survived by his father Francis Maggert, mother Marjorie Wisecup, one brother Randy Maggert and three stepbrothers Dave, Darrin, and Corey Selsor, fianc Norma Sparks, stepsons Thomas Sparks, Justin and Mikey Blair, and stepdaughter Jessica Blair and also surviving are five aunts, Miriam Foster, Shirley Pepels, Judy Locker, Linda Kindell, and special aunt Annette Hawes, and cousin Teresa (Jim) Guy. Tim is also survived by his special friends Mark Tilton, Michael and Ethel Cornett, Kyle Fauver, Jeremiah Williams, Jerry Scott, Christopher Taylor and Brian Ellifritz. Tim was preceded in death by his stepmother Vera (Selsor) Maggert. Tim attended Miami East High school and graduated from Montgomery County JVS class of 1986. Tim owned the Wild Fowlers Paradise for many years and also worked for Toyotomi until he wasnt able to. Tim was a member of the Bluegrass Water fowler club. Tim was of the protestant faith.
In addition to Tims work, he enjoyed boating, duck hunting with his buddies, going fishing in Canada, going to the National Truck Pullers Association, a good dad to all his fur babies Brute, Sammie, Shadow, Barney, and Tiggy until their passing, along with Drake and Crash who are still living. Tim had a deep love for being outdoors as much as he could, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his step-children, family, and friends.
He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends may call Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 2, 2023 with Pastor Tom Walter. Interment will follow at Fletcher Cemetery in Fletcher, Ohio. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association in remembrance of Timothy.
