Viola H. Richards

Viola H. (Adams) Richards, 87, of Sidney, Ohio passed away on July 21, 2023, surrounded by family in Piqua, Ohio. She was born October 27, 1935 in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of John and Della May (Moore) Adams.

Viola is survived by one son-in-law, Sheldon Parker and one daughter-in-law Jennifer Richards, two sisters Mary Conormon and Bobbie Fay Underwood both of West Virginia, eleven grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren. Viola was preceded in death by both her parents, John and Della May (Moore) Adams, her husband Peary Richards, four children Debbie Ann Parker, John Perry Richards, James Michael Richards, Robert Richards, along with eight siblings Pat, Fred, Eddie, Johnny, Gene, Andy, Goldie, and Martha.

Viola attended school in West Virginia. Viola was a homemaker. Viola enjoyed shopping, going to church, giving to her grandchildren and living life to the fullest, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Viola was a member of Northtowne Church of God in Sidney, Ohio. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, with Pastor Carl McNeill and Jerry Wilson. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, Ohio.
