Virginia L Rickert

Virginia Lee Rickert, 78, of Sidney, passed away on August 23, 2020, at 11:50 am, at the Greenville Health and Rehab Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on November 9, 1941, in Covington, the daughter of James H. and Geraldine (Hole) Smith. On March 17, 1984 she married John Franklin Rickert Sr., and he preceded her in death.

Virginia was retired the Federal Government, working in Westerville, and Dublin, she was also employed at Payco, and Alliance Data Systems, was a Business College Graduate, and a member of the Eagles, Sidney.

She is survived by her children, step-son; John Rickert Jr. of New Carlisle; daughter, Spring Greavu, of Greenville, Teresa (Richard) Zuber of Fountain Valley, CA., and Tamara Lee Helman, of West Carrolton, Ohio. Grandchildren: Hadison Renea Westfall, Harvey Sherman Westfall. Great-Grandchildren; Amelia Greavu and Chason Greavu. Her niece, guardian and, extra caregiver, Carla Hill, was a loyal and consistent influence in Virginias life, and they were very close to each other. Virginia also had a brother Dick Smith, with whom she was also close. Virginia loved her family and truly enjoyed time spent with them.
