Wayne Eugene Glick

Wayne Eugene Glick, 94, passed away at the Landings of Sidney, Ohio on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 1:52 AM. He was born January 6, 1924 in Sidney, Ohio the son of Ross Rike and Maude (Banning) Glick and they are deceased. He married Mary Catherine (Katy) Van Horn on March 22, 1946 and she passed away on October 26, 2003. He is survived by three daughters, Suz (Kay) Branson and husband Pete of Lafayette, Indiana, Karen (Torch) Braun and husband Dan of Sidney, Ohio and Kris (Sam) Glick of Campbell, California. Preceding him in death were his brothers, Edgar, Emory and Robert and sisters, Bertha, Dorothy, Donna, Pauline and Nellie. Mr. Glick was one of the Greatest Generation of World War II serving in the United States Army as a medic with service in Africa and Italy. He was employed a total of 38 years by Sidney Truck and Storage retiring in 1981 at age 57. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Home Health Care, Sidney, Ohio.
