Wilfred Alexander "Mac" Mccoy Jr.

Wilfred Mac Alexander McCoy Jr., 99, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 2500 N. Kuther Rd., Sidney, Ohio, passed away at Dorothy Love Retirement Community on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was born February 2, 1917 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Wilfred A. and Lois Olive (Hall) McCoy and they are deceased. He was married on May 26, 1939 to Wilma McCurray and she passed away in 2005. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy. He was a machinist by trade and been a maintenance supervisor at the Florida Presbyterian Retirement Village in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sidney. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek, Michigan with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dorothy Love Life Care Fund, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements.
